Pimples/bumps formed under bandage, is this bad?

So I burned my self with a soldering iron. No big deal, I put a (large) band aid on it, continue with my business. After about two days it starts to smell, I take it off, wash my arm with soap and water, put another one on. I repeat this process once more, and now, two days after, as I take the bandage off, there are maybe five pimples or things very much like pimple underneath where the bandage was, mostly under the adhesive part. Is this okay? My guess it's from the band aid being on there so long, my pours just got clogged up, but I'd rather play it safe.

My brother called me tonight. He is reasonably new at computers. He could not log into his yahoo account. To make a long story short, someone that knew his info went in and requested that his account be "deleted." (That's not the word the message used but it means the same). I have gotten all of his important stuff changed after creating him a new user name and email address. However, I can't change his Paypal account. It is telling me that I have to verify from the old email address and if I cannot do that to create a new account. I need to contact yahoo and get the old email account reinstated if possible so I can verify that email. How do i do that?

I would go now, just because it doesn't hurt to find out there's nothing wrong, and if there is something wrong with either one of you, you can find out. Drugs like Clomid work for most people who don't ovulate normally. Charting isn't very accurate and there's so many things that can affect it. OPK's aren't all that accurate either, in fact even if it says you ovulated you may not have. I have PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) if I hadn't diagnosed myself no one else would have, I'm not over weight, but I have the rest of the symptoms. 1 in 10 women of reproductive age have PCOS many don't even know it, some women continue having regular menses even though they are not ovulating regularly. Have the doctor do a hormone test. If you do decide to take Clomid or other fertility drug, they are all available w/o a prescription in Mexico and they are extremely cheap just go to any large looking pharmacy and look for the name brand, Clomid is Omifin; just read how to take it. If you don't like the do it yourself method, try to get your doctor to at least do the blood tests to see if there's a hormone imbalance. Good luck.

That pill can throw your period off schedule a little bit. Did you take the pill the same day or the next? If you wait more than 30-40 hours you are taking a big chance. It really only makes you slippery so an egg or sperm won't stick. If they stick I don't think it works. Take the pregnacy test again. Also having a case of nerves can mess up your period cycle.

Need advice on how to domesticate Semi Feral Kitten?

I adopted two very sick Singapore street kittens, at they time the vet said they where about 4 weeks old and they now are 11 months old. The boy kitten was instantly affectionate and came running to me on the street he had severe diarrhea and his whole body was covered in it. I then heard his sister stuck up a drain pipe, tried to get her out that did not go well and in the end my husband had to get leather gardening cloves and drag her out, while she hissed and scratched and put on a fight. The little boy is the most affectionate thing, constantly follows me everywhere and just loves my dogs and two older cats. The little girl for the next 4 months spent her life hiding in her bed under a towel. She hissed at me everytime she saw me and would eat when dark then run away. She has a very close bond with her brother and they adore each other, he is definetley her security blanket. When she was about 6 months things changed the two older cats finally accepted the kittens and as long as they behave and don't jump on them all is well and they have learn't the hard way about running up and surprise attacking the old cats. She also at this time started socialising with my other pets and us and at night time when we eat outside would come and sit next to us at the table and we would give her chicken pieces which really worked. When she was full she would still sit there looking at us. She started looking at us lovingly and would blink at us all the time and we would do the slow blink back. But any fast moves she is out of there so I had to sit quietly around her. Now at 11 months she waits for me to get up in the morning talks to me follows me to get the food and will sit with me while she eats as long as you don't make any fast moves. About a month ago I had a breakthrough with her she finally accepted food from my hand and will either tap my hand to get me to drop it or sometimes takes it with her mouth. She does not hiss at me anymore, and I can sneak in a little touch of her foot or side of her body, she will jump back from me but will come back in a minute to eat. I don't expect her to be a lap cat but wish I could pick her up as my husband & I are concerned that we can not take her to the vet and if she ever got sick and needed medication this is going to be a problem. The last attempt we had to corner her in a room and throw a towel on her and she went completely crazy, though she is very small for her age, about the size of a normal 5 month kitten she is extremley strong. I'm scared to go through that again. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions/tips on how I can get her to just let me stroke her. Knowing where I started she has come along way and I keep making a fuss out of her everyday so she feels love but just can't believe she wont let me pet her. Any advice appreciated....

To All Adoptive Parents and Birthmothers:?

I am a birthmother who gave two newborns up for adoption. I have absolutely no regrets and I have the type of adoption agreement that is open and the adoptive parents agreed to allow me to see the babies. One is now 4 and the other is almost a year. It is the best decision i have ever made for myself and my children. They both have lives better than I could ever give them and I get to see them several times a year and talk to them on the phone at least once a month. The only thing I would tell her to be careful of is that although I got lucky and found great people to adopt my children, there is no guarantee or law that protects the birthmothers rights as far as seeing the child after birth. The adoptive parents sign an agreement and the agencies encourage them to stand by their agreement to allow the birthparents to see the child but it is not legally binding. So, just warn her to be very careful of who she chooses for adoptive parents. If she isnt completely comfortable with the adoptive parents she chose, she is always allowed to change to another set of parents all the way until the baby is born and the papers are signed. As long as she is comfortable withe them it should be ok. I can only tell you it has been a great thing for us and I am very close with the two families who adopted my children! I give her a lot of credit for having the courage to do this!

SEROQUEL :Hi, folks I suffer bi-polar "mixed state" along with every damn anxiety in existence.?

I have been under the care of a Vpsychchiatrist for 7 years, and with success until- I was put on Seroquel, slow increase 50mg up to 400mg. The stuff basically put me in a coma, but did settle me down. The other meds Lamictal, & Xanax. After about 6 months, usual blood work- well you have high BP, high cholesterol, and thyroid problem. WHAT? So I had trouble focusing with Seroquel, have been off for 5 months, very short term & long term memory loss and lots if "did I tell you..." yes you did. At least 4x a day, and I don't know, extreme slight headache, fog, memory, and comprehension every day. After 5 months I would think the head would be clearer - and it's not, seems to get worse. My doc wants me on it again but I am so so scared- I already have enough brain damage. Anyone experiences? Sorry for the novel. Thanks for your input & experiences.

I've been bleeding/spotting for 2 weeks....?

I'm 23, I was on the pill for several months, (Ortho Tri-Sprintec) then my prescription was up and I didn't get another doctor appt for about a month and a half later to get it re-filled, so I've been off the pill for about 2 months now. My period was on time I guess (it's never been regular to a t) but usually it's really heavy and lasts about a week. But this time it's been more like spotting (sometimes a little heavier, but never as heavy as it usually is, I haven't even needed to use tampons really) and sometimes just a light pink. It's been like that for the past 2 weeks straight. Could it be bc I was on birth control and then I went off? Or could it be a sign that I'm pregnant? I AM ually active so that's def a possibility but could this be a sign of it or a sign of something else? Everything I have read online talks about breakthrough bleeding but I'm not on birth control right now so it's not that. It's just 2 weeks is a long time....

Adopted an affectionate dog?

I want to ask this question because we have adoped a st bernard and i have 2 young kids which i am concerned about. The question is Have you ever been kissed (licked) by a slobbery dog (st bernard, mastiff, great dane. bulldog, boxer)? What did it feel like? How wet was it? The reason i want to know is because this st bernard slobbers a ton and is very affectionate (he likes to kiss your faace, lips and mouth). Trouble with hallucinations, help?

So I'm 22, I got diagnosed with bi-polor when I was 15. I also have have been diagnosed with insomnia and a mild anxiety disorder fun right? Since my manic episode my freshman year I have been prescriped a ton of drugs that only made things worse, except for lithium which I am still currently on. My partner helped me get off some severly destructive and addictive sleeping medications about 2 years ago, they caused severe hallusinations among other problems. My various doctors have tried about 10-15 anxiety/sleep/mania medications to try and straighten me out with my sleep/anxiety issues they all just made it WORSE! Things got better about a year ago I was sleeping without any medication at all. Last night the hallusinations and anxiety attacks returned and I could not sleep at all. Please don't advise me to talk to my shrink because no offence doctors usually don't help, they just dole out more and more meds that made it all even worse. What should I do?

You cannot just rename a video file because it will corrupt it. You can import directly from a video camera to Movie Maker. In move maker there is a capture option, where you can capture and input source such as your video camera. You can also re encode a video to a different format, but this is more difficult.

Priming and painting PVC?

We are making a special project, and we have to paint PVC pipe a metallic copper. We bought spray paint primer for plastic, let it dry overnight and then sprayed the metallic copper color over it, but it is ending up with this crackling over some of the areas and is no longer smooth! Why? We worked so hard on the construction of the (toy) we're making. Any ideas as to why this happened or what we could have done wrong. It didn't crackle everywhere, just some of the places. We may need to remake the special toy.

He can entertain himself with toys for a short period of time, but if he looks up and I'm out of the room, the crying starts. And when i am in the room, I'm either playing with him, or he is playing right next to me... never too far away. I've given him his own toys (baby toys), pots and pans, cups, magazines, and he has a bouncer (he has long since outgrown his exersaucer which he used to love, darn!). I've tried anything that will entertain him... I even keep cartoons on and I always said I would NEVER let the tv entertain my child. But again, all of these only work for a short period, he seems to get bored easily. The other issue is that if I leave him for even 5 minutes, it seems he is trying to get to something I don't want him to (despite ALL of the things around him that are just for him!). Any suggestions?

to start off, you really should get two. and its best to get them both at the same time so they are bonded. i have one now and i am in the middle of getting another one. but my girl is having a hard time bonding now with new gliders. but they do need the company of another glider. your schedule is ok i guess. just be sure to get a bonding pouch so you can have your glider with you a lot so she can get used to you. but since you dont have that much time with her to begin with, its is vitally important that she has a buddie. these animals can actually die if they arent shown enough love and ignored. i am sure you are a great person and i am sure you have nothing but the best intentions, but it sounds like a glider is not right for you. they are TONS of work. and you arent planning on getting another one and you dont have a lot of time for your one, so it just doesnt seem like a good idea. i know you will ignore me but just think of the poor glider. i know mine barks at night every once ina while. she is trying to find another glider. just please do a little more research on them to make sure you know what you are getting into. good luck

I feel really unloved by my family. My parents loathe each other. They've both remarried and got more children. I feel totally unloved because they both fight over NOT having to look after me (I was an accident pregnancy). I now live with my dad & stepmom full-time. My Sugar Glider Has An Odor?

First off, I wouldn't use Elimina or PureAyre, both of those could be potentially hazardous to your gliders health. How old is your male? If he's younger then yes, he will scent a lot. If that's the case, this only goes on for a couple months and then the smell goes aways. Believe me, I've been there, lol. Also, are you cleaning all the stuff in his cage 3 times a week? If so, then he's over scenting. Males like to scent stuff in their cages so that they know it's theirs. This could be the reason he's scenting so much. Next time you clean his cage, either clean the stuff in the cage (leaving 1 thing) and don't wipe the bars down, or wipe the bars down and leave the stuff in the cage. You can rotate this a couple times a week. It's great that you're keeping his cage clean, but you don't want to over-clean. Hope this helps... ;)
