My friend has bought me a duckling, but i don't know how to look after it?

my friend bought me a duckling when i said i wanted one as a joke. I don't know how to look after it. I've found an 8 Watt Electric Propagator on amazon for �15 but is that just for hatching eggs? i need to keep the duckling warm for 6 weeks when i get it, and i need a cheap hutch. Help??
