Do you know of any m killings that are grossly unknown?

The Armenian genocide was a shocker, but the Turkish gov refuses to acknowledge it claiming that over a million Armenians died as a result of relocation or some such B/S. Stalin's purges were even worse, due to his chronic paranoia, even those closest to him were at risk (up to 40 million). Pol-pot another psycho who thought his way was the right way, if you didn't agree or were educated you ended up in a killing field (one in every four). As for serial killers there was a nasty chap in the Andes who d & killed over 400 kids, and the russians have a few colourful charicters as well.
