What happened to Iraqi citizens leaving Kuwait after the conflict?

After Iraq invaded Kuwait and was subsequently forced to withdraw, what happened to the Iraqi civilians that moved into Kuwait? Was there not something about them coming back to Iraq and being killed by an American "percussion bomb" or something? Apparently there was no enquiry or the like, but didn't something like this happen? This type of weapon apparently killed a lot of people but left all vehicles, etc intact.
