If you were a parent what would you do?

Basically, my cousin is in college and is going to join the navy after a year of college. This semester is not looking good. He tried at the beginning but now, he keeps getting bad grades. Now, he tried but it just got a little overwhelming and if he doesnt do good on his finals, he is in jeopardy of failing 3 of his 6 cles. He asked me to ask a question asking how you think his parents will react. Now, he is on his dads GI bill and i set on joining the navy after he looses a few pounds like me. HE is worried that his parents will kick him out of the house because he has no where to go. His dad is a fair, but nice Navy master chief and his mom is a funny, but mean mom.
