Marks and Spencer recruitment hotline?

Has anyone else called the M&S recruitment line to apply for a job as a general istant, completed the questionaire and been cut off? I have been trying to apply and got cut of 3 times yesterday after the last question and on the 4th time I got given a reference number. I'm waiting for customer services to email me back but I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem?
