Alright get this my my egine blew up after i didnt have enough oil in it suposabley but?

2 months ago i got a oil change and got my gas tank replace but there for got to attach my gas tank to were the nozzle goes in so it would leak a few gallons every Time they fill it well i drove the truck for about 2 months and i noticed a funny noise i only went 2000 miles over and i added a quart that day when my truck died i had to get it towed home over 100 miles to the auto shop and they said my engine blew up and there was no oil left in it u think its possible they for got to give me a oil change or forgot to tighten the oil changer bolt at the bottom of the vechile i was only 2000 over and they did for get to fix the gas tank problem and i almost lost my job over it is this my fault or not
