In Virtual Villagers 2: The Lost Children, what happens if I drop the cauldron (Puzzle 9)...?

...When trying to make the stew? Is it possible for me to get it back. I found it in the wood pile, but I picked-up the person who was carrying it, then she dropped it, then it disappeared. What should I do?!
